Business: Textable is a text-message ordering platform, a service of Holsinger Brand LLC, used by independent restaurants. Textable sends messages on behalf of each restaurant, and every message clearly identifies that specific restaurant by name (for example, "Twisted Indian"), not just "Textable."
Path 1 — Texting a restaurant's ordering number
A consumer opts in by texting a restaurant's dedicated Textable number to place an order. The very next message they receive is:

Marketing is never automatic and never required to place an order. A consumer is only added to that restaurant's marketing list if they reply DEALS — replying to place an order, or not replying at all, opts them into order-related texts only.

Path 2 — A restaurant's pre-existing customer list
If a restaurant already has a list of customer contacts collected outside Textable, the restaurant owner uploads it (name and phone number). Each contact receives exactly one text:

A contact is only added to that restaurant's marketing list if they reply YES. No consent is assumed from silence, and no consent from a prior sign-up on another platform is treated as consent here.
