Privacy Policy

Textable, a service of Holsinger Brand LLC ("we," "us"), provides a text-message ordering platform that restaurants use to receive and process orders from their customers. This policy explains what information we collect through that service and how it's used.

Information we collect

• Your phone number, when you text an order to a restaurant using Textable
• The content of your text messages, including order details
• Order and payment status associated with your order

How we use it

• To process and confirm your order with the restaurant
• To send you order confirmations, payment links, and pickup-ready notifications
• To respond to questions about your order

SMS consent and opt-out

By texting an order to a restaurant's Textable number, you consent to receive text messages related to that order. Message frequency varies based on your order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of future messages, or HELP for assistance.

Marketing messages

Marketing consent is always separate and optional from order-related consent — texting to place an order never automatically signs you up for promotional messages. A restaurant using Textable may send you occasional promotional messages (deals, offers, and similar) only after you've separately, affirmatively agreed, in one of two ways:

• Texting to place an order: The first time you text a restaurant's Textable ordering number, our automated reply discloses your order-related consent, and — as a distinct, optional invitation, not a condition of ordering — asks if you'd also like occasional deals. You're only added to that restaurant's marketing list if you reply DEALS; ignoring the invitation means you simply continue receiving order-related texts as normal.
• An existing contact list: If a restaurant already has a list of customer contacts collected outside Textable, each contact is sent one text asking permission to receive marketing messages going forward. You're only added to that restaurant's marketing list if you reply YES — never based on a prior sign-up elsewhere, and never assumed from silence.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving all messages — including order-related texts — from that restaurant's number, since carriers require honoring an opt-out from all messages on a number, not just promotional ones. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Data sharing

Your order information is shared only with the specific restaurant you're ordering from, and with the named vendors required to operate Textable itself: Twilio (to deliver text messages), Stripe (to process payments), and Supabase and Vercel (to host the service). These vendors process your information solely to provide these functions and do not use it for their own marketing.

We never sell your personal information, and neither we nor the restaurant you're ordering from ever share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your phone number or SMS opt-in/consent status to any advertiser, data broker, or other outside party for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. A restaurant's own promotional messages to you (see "Marketing messages" above) are sent directly through Textable, using the same order relationship already described above — not a separate disclosure to anyone else.

Data retention

We retain order and message history as needed to provide the service and for the restaurant's own recordkeeping.
